IT TAKES A VILLAGE NOT ONE INDIVIDUAL

On this page we would like to take the opportunity for you to see the amazing organisations and celebrities that have and continue to support the “Small boat”

Without this support it would be impossible to donate the mountains of Easter Eggs, the truck loads of Christmas gifts, the crucial royalties to the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital oncology wards and most importantly, to raise awareness of child cancer and it’s impact on children and their families. 

We have always maintained that what we do cannot cure cancer ( Truly we wish it could) but it does make the journey those children and families face a little more bearable. Having been one of those families we know just how much support and moments of respite those gifts can bring and the thought that lies behind them. The royalty payments allow the ward to obtain equipment they feel would again make the cancer journey more bearable. 

In addition to all of the wonderful organisations and celebrities there is a cast of thousands….. Those people who stumble across a Facebook post, a TikTok share, a Google search….. You are probable reading this right now, to you!! yes, you !! Thank you so much for your contribution, truly you ARE making a difference, you are every bit as important as the large business, the sports giants, the world of entertainment…. because in truth all of those aforementioned organisations are made up of single people, and so to the thousands of you, you have my heartfelt thanks, Sorrelle’s heartfelt thanks, my family’s heartfelt thanks and most importantly the thanks of those children in those rooms receiving cancer treatment as you read these words.
