Sorrelle delivers a little Christmas

Every Christmas since 2018 we have been fortunate to visit the children’s oncology
ward at the Royal Manchester Childrens Hospital where we are able to distribute
gifts to the children receiving treatment over the period. It is our way of recognising
the difficult time families face and our attempt to bring a moment of relief.

Sorrelle very much enjoys delivering the gifts and visiting the medical teams
responsible for her successful treatment, here we share some images of visits and
encourage anyone reading this to contribute to supporting these children and
families.
By purchasing your copy of “Small boat in a big ocean” you will be directly supporting
the ward, your royalty from the book will go directly to them helping them to provide
those little extras on the ward to help make the time more bearable for the children
facing treatment and their families.

Thank you for making a difference.

Thank you from Radio Lollipop Manchester

Hi Sam and Sorrelle,

It was really nice to meet you and Sorrelle on Wednesday evening. Thank you again for coming to see us and donating the presents. I wanted to pass on our thanks from all the volunteers at Radio Lollipop Manchester and from the patients we visited on wards 77 and 78 who were very grateful and excited for their early Christmas presents (some were very disciplined and said they had to wait until Christmas to open theirs!).

It would be great to keep in touch and I wish you a great Christmas and New Year.

Best wishes,

Ashley

Awareness

Here we share an important image that will help all family members know what to
look for and hopefully result in early detection of child cancers. As a family we know
from experience that the early detection of Sorrelle’s leukaemia was hugely
important in here treatment and subsequent beating of the disease.
